Mouse Pad Washing Instructions
Setup / Preperation
Make sure that you have enough room on a bench to lay the mouse pad completely flat after washing. Select the largest rinsing basin or bath tub if available. If there is nothing large enough inside the house without folding or bending the pad then please rinse outside with hose. If available find a towel to rest under the pad during drying.
Step 1
Gently lay the mouse pad as flat as possible in the basin or bath tub.
Step 2
Ensure the affected area is covered in water even if only resting on the top and not all seeping in immediately. Stop the water after.
Step 3
Squirt a finger tip sized dollop of either hand soap, shampoo or conditioner onto your finger.
Step 4
Gently rub soap into affected area and around as much of the mouse pad as you can and leave it for around 10 seconds.
Step 5
Rinse the mouse pad off under water and gently rub all soap out of the pad for about 30 seconds. Make sure the full pad is covered in water by massaging any sections that have not yet changed color to a darker water-soaked grey.
Note: We cover the whole pad with water, otherwise it may leave lines or patches when it dries due to where you've cleaned the pad meets the dirty part. If your basin is not big enough to do this. Grab the sides of the pad and rotate under water as best you can without over bending it.
Step 6
Rest the mouse pad completely flat either face down into a towel or facing upwards for an air dry (roughly around 4-8 hours depending on location).
