10 year replacement warranty, do you actually expect your product to last 10 years?

The product is high quality made though the warranty doesn't come from a confidence in the durability. The confidence is in the agreement to continue replacing the pad when you have worn through the pad. It's a promise of service rather than a stapling this cloth pad will last forever. We may also one day stop making this specific product. This way we can promise the owners of the pad they will still be able to continue obtaining them after it's discontinued sale.


What can you compare the feeling of the surface to?

Leaning more towards a control pad with medium speed but has a very unique feeling that you would have never felt before which feels quick. For those familiar with the Artisan range than it is has been heavily compared to the Zero w/ a Mid Soft base. General feedback suggests that it sits somewhere in-between the Steel Series Qck+ and the Zowie GSR in terms of speed but if they had a softer base. A non-sponsored youtuber has put together a surface comparison review here and there are other reviews also now available on YouTube. 


Opinions regarding custom mouse feet to use with the Kamek?

Recently we've had a lot of feedback from people recommending either the Tiger Arc 2 PTFE feet or the Pulsar Superglide Glass skates on the mouse pad. Most online stores resell both these for various models and brands of mice. Although your standard PTFE feet which come stock standard with all mice will be fine. This a recommendation for the gamers who prefer a more premium glide.


As they are coming out from Australia, what are the expectations around shipping?

Right now shipping globally is definitely slower than usual. This is largely dependant on your country and the Covid-19 protocols. Some have still been holding packages 1-2 weeks before moving them onto customers. If you set your expectations for around 4-6 weeks you shouldn't be disappointed. We are also investigating potential international resellers and fulfilment. We expect shipping times to improve as borders start opening up again and Covid protocols are removed. This is subsidised with reduced shipping costs for our customers to offset any inconvenience caused by the wait. 


Since the pad is not black, do marks show up more?

Yes, some marks may show up faster on any non-black mouse pads, however, this is largely dependant on the person. Sweat marks or finger print residue will still happen on any black mouse pad, just that it will show clearer on a lighter tone mouse pad. Typically when this occurs it does mean the texture of the pad where those marks are has changed. So it's generally a good time to wash the pad and bring the surface speed back anyway. Are you planning to do an Colors, XXL, Glass or Extended size Pad?

If the Kamek is successful then different colours, bases, surfaces and sizes will all be on the horizon for a next product. There is a few things we can't give away regarding the future of the branding and colours. These decisions are going to be constantly evolving, so for now, this information will be kept as a surprise and determinant on how things go with the first product.
